House Rules
• All house rules must be obeyed unless instructed to do otherwise by a person in authority, or permission is granted.

• All persons must obey those in authority at all times regardless of their level. (If a person in authority asks someone to do something immoral or illegal then that order should be disobeyed.) If a person feels something is unfair then they can appeal to the team at the correct time, by submitting their disagreement in writing.

• All persons must get permission to go upstairs, downstairs, or out of the home

• Dress Code
Must be modestly dressed
No hats in-doors unless specified
Can not be worn sideways or backwards
No gang related clothing
Pants can not be more than 2 fingers (sideways) below the belly button
Pants can not be so long that it is walked on or they can not drag on the floor
Tops or shirts must be modest and no belly flesh or back skin showing. They must have sleeves

Jewelry:
Can only wear 3 pieces (watches do not count)


• A pair of earrings counts as 1 piece

• Only one earring in each ear
No negative or controversial items (decided by team)
No offensive items (decided by team)
Ear rings
Must be post only unless permission is given
Must be smaller than your earlobe
Only one pair can be kept by the person, all others will be kept in their personal deposit box
Make-up
Must be modest
Can be worn in public on social outings or as directed by staff
Can be worn according to a persons level


• Phone
Can only be touched or answered by adults only unless otherwise specified
Can be used according to a persons level

• Violence and property damage are not allowed and can result in being placed on a lower level along with other consequences

• A person can ask for a priority rule (exception to a House Rule, for a particular reason, must be applied for in writing)

• Money
No buying, selling, trading, receiving or giving anything away without permission.
Cash will be determined by a persons level
All purchases will must be approved by supervising adult unless otherwise stated
All money will be stored in individual deposit box

• Consequences
If an incident report is filled out you must do a “Repent”(cognitive thinking skill paper)
Other consequence may be given
If you are acting much younger that your age you can be sent to the corner. (If you act like a 3 year old then you will receive a 3 year old consequence.)

• Touching
Males and females need to sit on the opposite side of the table, unless with permission or directed to otherwise
Biological Siblings can sit next to and or have appropriate contact (hug) without permission
No slugging, pushing, slapping, etc. No threatening retaliation

• These are important area to work on in order to advance a level:
Having a minimal number of incident reports
Improving in these areas
• being nice
• being honesty
• apologizing quickly
• keeping room clean
• doing well in school
• showing that you care and that you are trying
• behaviors
• getting work done in a timely fashion
• doing well at job
• doing well at chores
• show that you really care
• lights off at appropriate time without being reminded (10 PM)
• social skill development
• sharing
• being positive
• following directions
• cooperation
• taking responsibility for ones actions
• no violence or acts of aggression
• no property damage
